Security Measures
The BPA is committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. The security of personal information is important to the BPA, but no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While the BPA strives to protect personal information, it cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Retention
The BPA retains personal information until and unless a member or former member requests that their personal information be removed. A member or former member may request that their personal information be deleted by contacting the Convention Director at conventiondirector@boardgamers.org. A current member's personal information will be retained until their membership terminates.
Children's Privacy
The BPA does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian, or anyone else, is aware that a child has provided the BPA with personal information, please contact the Convention Director at conventiondirector@boardgamers.org. If the BPA becomes aware that it has collected personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, it will remove that information.
